KABAROLE MISSION GROUP PROJECT.
For a very long time KMG, has been longing for something it can set up so that it can become to a greater extent self sustaining
and with that in mind the office of the projects manager decided to launch a search for a viable income generating project that that can foster self sustenance. A number of consultations were done from members and quite a number of income generating projects were suggested. Some of these include: a coffee shop, stationary shop, saloon, craft shop, public address system e.t.c. and with this, market survey was done and together with a couple of reasons which will be enumerated we decided to embark on the public address system.
Why the Public address system
We believe that it is easier to manage. If well managed returns can be relatively faster. KMG will utilize this system on its missions, thus reducing on costs since a lot is spent on public address systems during missions. Currently the mission group owns a keyboard.
Nature of the project’s management when it is in place.
The project management office together with the chairman and the Mama will be charged with looking for a person who will be in charge of the machines and together with the person they are expected to effect co-ordination however all the returns are to be received and approved by the office of the treasurer. We expect that an agreed amount of money will be given to the person in full time control. However advice to this effect is welcome.
Methods of raising funds for purchasing the machines.
A 3-fish (600shillings) campaign has been launched and this works in such a way that on every KMG gathering, members are expected to give this besides their tithe and offering. More projects like t-shirts, bangles, and key holders are in place to raise funds to this effect. We have so far raised UGX 320,000 through the same.
